Experience the refined heritage of Papier d'Arménie, an exquisite incense paper that has graced French homes since 1885. During a trip to Armenia, chemist Auguste Ponsot was inspired by traditional Armenian techniques of using certain fragrant resins and plants to disinfect and perfume indoor spaces. Together with pharmacist Henri Rivier, they developed a paper incense that is still produced in Montrouge, the suburbs of Paris.

  • Crafted in 2009 by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, this exquisite fragrance celebrates the timeless allure of roses.
  • This elegant room deodorizer represents nearly 140 years of French craftsmanship, offering a distinguished alternative to modern air fresheners.

Burning Instructions (for air freshening)

  1. Fold: Tear one strip and fold it lengthwise into an accordion or fan shape.
  2. Light: Place it on its longest edge on a heat-resistant surface (like a ceramic dish) and light the tip.
  3. Blow Out: Immediately blow out the flame so the paper smolders slowly, not burns quickly.
  4. Place Safely: Let it burn in a safe spot, away from flammable materials, children, and pets.
  5. Ventilate: Use 3-4 times a week, but always ventilate your home regularly and after use

Non-Burning Uses (for subtle scenting)
Place folded strips in closets, drawers, books, or luggage to gently perfume fabrics and items.

  • Do not leave a burning strip unattended.
  • Keep the product out of reach of children.
  • Avoid inhaling the smoke directly.
  • Ventilate the room after use.
