Katsushika Hokusai’s Under the Wave, off Kanagawa (Kanagawa oki nami-ura) (1829–33) is perhaps the most famous of Hokusai's woodblock prints — and might be the most recognized of all Japanese prints. It belongs to the series Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku sanj_rokkei).
