Spicewalla's Middle Eastern Collection is a versatile set of spices from some of the oldest cuisines in the world. These three blends hailing from the Fertile Crescent make great rubs for a quick dinner or can easily be mixed with olive oil for a delicious dip. Named one of Bon Appetit's "16 Best Things We Added to Our Pantry this Year."
Spicewalla is the latest venture from acclaimed restaurateur Meherwan Irani – a self-taught chef who has been nominated for five James Beard Awards. It is inspired by his childhood in India, when his family would make their own dhansak masala from fresh whole spices hand-picked from their own farmland, then roast and grind it themselves. Spicewalla's products, roasted and ground in-house to bring out the freshest flavors, come in tins designed to keep your spices fresh, just like in India. Tins are also refillable: buy your refills in compostable bags when you are running low.

Collection includes:
Za'atar (1.8 ounces). Complex, zesty, tart, and floral. With sumac, sesame, cumin, and herbs, it's the quintessential spice mix of the Middle East. Try it on roasted vegetables, in savory yogurt sauces, or mix with olive oil to brush on flatbread.

Berbere (1.5 ounces). Warm and aromatic with a touch of sweetness. Goes great with lamb or lentil dishes, but for an easy treat try it sprinkled on some popcorn!

Harissa (1.8 ounces). Spicy, herbaceous, and bright. Harissa is the darling of the spice world as of late, and staple on North African tables. Goes great on vegetables, soups, and egg dishes. Or, use it as a rub for roasted or grilled meats.
