Gorgeous gold-flecked Lapis Lazuli has been mined in Asia for over 6500 years, for use in jewelry as well as mosaics, figurines, and even make-up.  This necklace featuring faceted lapis set off by small gold vermeil beads can be worn doubled or left long.

Jyotsna “Joey” Singh first started designing jewelry for herself, to fulfill a craving for jewelry unlike any other on the market.  As the granddaughter of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala, who ruled the province from 1900 to 1938, Joey grew up surrounded by opulent jewelry, and wanted to impart the regal feel of Indian jewelry without the restrictions of security or expense.  She is inspired by traditional jewelry as well as the colors of art and nature that move her deeply, resulting in a collection that can be dressed up or down for everyday as well as special occasions.
