Mapping Earrings with LabradoriteGarden of desire
Garden of Desire designer Ly Pisith creates exquisite contemporary pieces that are often linked to his Cambodian roots, vibrant with meaning. After fleeing as a child to France, where he eventually worked for numerous haute couture international brands, Pisith returned to Cambodia in 2007 and founded Garden of Desire with jeweler Agnes Lim.
Garden of Desire's Khmer collection pays homage to the lost kingdom of Angkor and its ancient temples. This earring is inspired by the floorplan of the 12th-century Angkor Wat temple complex, a labradorite teardrop taking the place of the bakan (sanctuary) at its heart.
All Garden of Desire pieces are handcrafted by local artisans and jewelers and each style is made in limited quantities from 955 fine silver, 925 sterling silver, and semi-precious stones.
