Asian Art Museum Silver Camel Earrings

Exclusively designed for the Asian Art Museum and inspired from this Tang dynasty camel from the museum's collection.

The Museum Store commissioned jewelry makers in Bali to create this range of jewelry to celebrate the museum's unique collection. The process begins with the jewelers hand carving wax molds. They work from photographs, carving in details needed to capture the essence of the original artwork.  The wax models are then used to create molds using the lost-wax casting method.

Camels and wires are silver, 1.125" long
