Asian Art Museum Custom Tea BlendAsianArtMuseumStore
Fabula Tea blended this tea for the Asian Art Museum to honor Chinese artist Au Ho-nien, whose artworks graces the label, on the occasion of the exhibition The Bold Brush of Au Ho-nien. It is an aromatic and complex blend of traditional handcrafted Oolong called Phoenix Dancong, wild chrysanthemum and mulberry leaves. Phoenix Dancong, a Mi Lan Xian cultivar from Guangdong province, was selected to honor Au’s origins, while its long, twisted leaves symbolize the artist’s calligraphy. Wild chrysanthemum represents unbridled passion and mulberry leaves represent both the green scenery in Au’s painting and our spirit to explore.
This tea was custom blended by Fabula Tea, which brings together the ancient traditions of tea ceremony, storytelling and art appreciation.
